Stephen Inggs is Director of the Michaelis School of Fine Art and a practising artist, holding solo exhibitions of his work in London, Cape Town and Johannesburg. His work reflects his interest in the identity and representation of places and overlooked objects as emblems of transience, exploring their history, cultural residue and meaning. His work has been included in numerous international group exhibitions including AIPAD in New York, Art Chicago , Photo LA, Art Region End of Africa in Reykjavik, Iceland and was a prize-winner at the International Print Triennial in Krakow, Poland in 2003. Inggs has curated numerous print portfolios, produced and published a book on the art and technique of lithography and co-convened the 3rd Impact International Printmaking Conference in 2003. Mandy Lee Jandrell first studied art at the National School of the Arts, Johannesburg in 1993, received a BA(FA) degree with distinction in photography at Michaelis in 1998 and a MFA at Goldsmiths College, London, in 2003. She has exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad, including in the USA, Austria and Germany. Solo exhibitions have included: Safari , Bearspace, London (2005), Where the Grass is Green , Mead Gallery, University ofWarwick (2004) and Take Photo Here , at Joao Ferreira Gallery, Cape Town (2004). Jandrell was commissioned by the UK Government Art Collection in 2004 to produced a series of five work for an exhibition in the Ante Room of 10 Downing Street.
