Linda Stupart is an artist, writer and educator. She completed her Master degree at Michaelis in 2008, has had two solo exhibitions and was a winner at Spier Contemporary 2007 with her collective, Doing It For Daddy . She has participated in a number of group exhibitions. Stupart has woked as the Cape Town editor of ArtThrob and has been involved in a number of curatorial and educational projects in CapeTown. She currently works as a part time lecturer and tutor at UCT and contributes to various South African art journals, as well as exhibiting regularly. In 2012 she will be commencing her Fine Art PHD at Goldsmiths, University of London. 23 Svea Josephy . Svea Josephy graduated from Michaelis in 1993 and is now a Senior Lecturer in Photography at UCT. She has exhibited widely, in South Africa and internationally, and her work is represented in collections locally and abroad. In 2010 she was jointly awarded the Prix du Ministre de la Culture DakArt 2010 at the 9th Biennial of Contemporary African Art, Dakar, Senegal. She was awarded a Gordon Institute for Performing and Creative Arts Project Award (2009), the A.W. Mellon Emerging Scholars Award (2008) and the Malan Trust Curatorship Award (2007). Her work has been published in various books, journals and catalogues on local contemporary art and photography.
