49 49 A Japanese ginbari enamel vase, Meiji period, 1868-1912 the tapering ovoid body enamelled with three ducks swimming amongst irises, signed, damaged, 40cm high R  -   50 A Japanese Satsuma figure of Kannon, late Meiji period, 1868-1912 the standing figure with brocaded robe, holding a scroll in her left hand, her chest adorned with beads, with high headdress, gilding with wear, 61,5cm high ; and a Japanese Satsuma figure of an Arhat, late Meiji period, 1868-1912, seated on a rocky outcrop with stylised waves below, his left hand resting on the head of a three-clawed mizuchi , his right hand holding a golden ball, gilding slightly worn, 30cm high (2) R  -   51 A Chinese hardwood two-tiered stand, late Qing Dynasty, 19th century in the form of a gnarled tree, its branches supporting two platforms, repair, 31cm high, 45cmwide, 26,5cm deep ; and two Chinese hardwood figures, 20th century, one seated, drinking from an ewer, his left hand resting on a wine vessel, some repairs, paper label, 19cm high , the other laughing figure, with his right leg resting on a wine vessel, with mouth agape, lacking an eyeball, 18cm high (3) R  -   52 A Chinese carved teak cupboard, 20th century the moulded rectangular top above a pair of panelled doors enclosing later shelves and drawers, with panelled sides, on taotie -headed paw feet, the panels carved with leaf-shaped cartouches of boats before pavilions and riverscapes, 138,5cm high, 120cmwide, 43,5cm deep R  -   This lot appears in photographs of Harcroft, Perak, during Charles and Muriel Rycroft’s occupancy post 1945 52 50 51 37
