43 Delaire Botmaskop 2000 750ml 6 (1 x 6) R4 000 – 6 000 PROVENANCE Wine Cellar ITEM NOTES Nestled between majestic mountains on the Helshoogte pass, Delaire was established by John and Erica Platter in the early 1980s and is now one of the jewels in the Cape Winelands. The property’s vineyards on the Botmaskop Mountain peak are the source for this stalwart, ageworthy red that was only produced in excellent years at the time. The 2000 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, from a single block of vines and was made by legend Bruwer Raats. ‘Dense, ripe and suave, with complex, perfumed flavours lifted by racy acidity and a peppery nuance.
