Saturday Live is a new initiative by Strauss & Co and is the first-ever live auction to be hosted at our expanded Houghton address. This new limited- lot sale focuses on mid-range artworks by established artists and covers all the key time periods. The sale fills a strategic niche between our five premium live sales and eight online auctions. Buyers and sellers will benefit from longer previews and focused sale attention. Emerging collectors will have an opportunity to access Strauss & Co’s energetic live-sale platform in a boutique setting. Saturday Live is part of our strategic plan to diversify our sales programme and will be hosted with our inaugural Strauss & Co Fine South African Wine Auction.
