Painted shortly before her death in 2005, this work depicts a typical scene of the artist engrossed in a crossword puzzle on the sunny veranda of her and husband Jan Rabie’s house in Vermont, surrounded by their much loved cats. PROVENANCE Acquired from the artist by the current owner’s parents.
