More recently he became a fine art consultant at Bonhams. He has been a popular figure on the BBC Antiques Roadshow since 2003. A colleague and associate of the late Stephan Welz, they travelled extensively around South Africa together valuing art. Dendy is also a highly experienced auctioneer.
