The original brooch was sold by Sotheby’s in 1987 and again in 2011 when the Elizabeth Taylor Collection was sold by Christie’s. Attwood & Sawyer produced quality vintage costume jewellery from 1957. A British company started in Porthcawl, Wales, they produced jewellery which included copies of the “Duchess of Windsor” jewellery. They distributed in stores across the UK, Europe and worldwide.
