The mountain is shown during a summer storm with menacing low clouds rolling down into the valley below. In the foreground is the Tugela (Thukela) River in full spate, a churning mass of white water. Methven’s sometimes cold Scottish palette is well suited to dramatic Drakensberg storms.’
